Tappit Rank no.1 in the SportTech 50

We’re delighted to announce that Tappit has been ranked no.1 in the 2021 SportTech 50.

The ranking celebrates businesses creating tech for sports and fitness performance, consumption and administration. A reader vote alongside a vote from an independent judging panel put Tappit in first place.

We’re thrilled to come out on top and be recognised for the fantastic work we do using cashless technology to create a safer, more enjoyable fan experience and providing event organisers with actionable data and insights.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Tappit has had a fantastic 2021. We’ve launched with new clients, including the Cincinnati Reds and the San Diego Padres. We’ve announced a strategic partnership with LEARFIELD to bring cashless technology to college sports and we’ve partnered with CLEAR to help shape a secure and contactless future.

The Tappit technology team have continued to innovate this year, launching the Mobile Pay Web Wallet, so even if an organisation doesn’t have its own app, fans can still access a white label appless wallet in their browser. We’ve also launched Automated Rewards and Incentives, that let our clients create targeted rewards based on fan behaviour.

And with more exciting developments planned for the final months of 2021, the Tappit team is still growing and recruiting for a number of roles internationally.
