Tappit, the global payment ecosystem for events, stadia and venues, has today announced two new exciting partnerships. The collaborations with Wake Up Call Festival at W Dubai – the Palm and Bahrain Jazz Festival, mark the extension of Tappit’s growth on both a national and international scale.

This October, W Hotels is bringing the world-famous Wake Up Call festival series to Dubai, giving the music festival experience a luxury upgrade. Scheduled to be held at the new W Dubai-the Palm from 10th -12th October, this event will offer ticket holders a cashless experience allowing them to benefit from Tappit’s state of the art technology, providing an enhanced payment experience, fewer queues and secure transactions throughout the weekend.

This exciting partnership comes alongside another new deal with one of the Middle East’s most eclectic music festivals, Bahrain Jazz Fest. The 2019 edition of the Bahrain Jazz Festival will take place in at the Royal Golf Club in November and will see Tappit’s technology used to offer an experience like no other in Bahrain, which will feature a brand new artist line-up, unique all-day markets and family-friendly attractions.

Tappit will also be offering both sets of organisers access to Tappit Insights, which provides essential data regarding attendee habits, allowing organisers to improve the customer experience throughout the event.

Bahrain Jazz Fest and Wake Up Call Dubai follow a string of Middle Eastern partnerships including Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby 7s and JA The Resort’s Holi Beach Party and Holi Masti. These join other milestone partnerships for Tappit across EMEA, including Tomorrowland Barcelona, Leopallooza and Manchester City Football Club.

Jason Thomas, CEO of Tappit commented: “These new partnerships are fantastic additions to Tappit’s ever-growing list of national and international clients. This year we have seen exponential growth across the globe, and these two partnerships in the Middle East signify exciting times ahead, as we bolster this growth even further. We are very much looking forward to making our mark and sharing Tappit’s cutting edge technology with another two world-renowned festivals.”

Jude D’Souza at Bahrain Jazz Fest added: “Our partnership with Tappit signifies a major milestone for events in Bahrain. Since the beginning, we have always integrated technology in the Bahrain Jazz Fest. We are proud to be the first music festival in Bahrain to introduce cashless experiences in a big way and we are confident that this new feature will only add to Bahrain’s role as a leading tech player in the region. We always strive hard to deliver top-quality experiences to our customers and this collaboration will certainly enhance the experiential quality of the festival.”
